Alliance Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault
Alliance Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault is a non-profit organization committed to stopping domestic violence and sexual assault in Kern County, California and to assisting those who have suffered from these crimes reclaim their lives.

California Clinic Collaborative on Domestic Violence
In 1998, the Family Violence Prevention Fund, with support from The California Endowment, embarked on a 2-year initiative to help 20 community health clinics in California improve their response to domestic violence. This comprehensive project included implementation of prevention efforts to educate the clinic population about domestic violence and secondary prevention programs, including screening and intervention for patients. The project also aimed to build a cohesive network of health advocates to promote the importance of domestic violence prevention strategies in health care settings among policymakers.

The Family Place of Dallas, Texas
The mission of The Family Place is to eliminate family violence through intervention and proactive prevention, extensive community education, advocacy and assistance for victims and their families.

Family Violence Project—Center for Families, Children and the Courts
The California Family Violence Project staff members provide legal and policy advice to the Judicial Council, Legislature, and Governor; analyze drafts and testify about pending family violence legislation; produce committee and council reports analyzing domestic violence issues; and provide legal counsel for mandated studies and reports to the Legislature and Governor. Project staff produce new and revised rules of court, standards of judicial administration, and forms.

Germantown Domestic Violence Community Mobilization Initiative
This initiative in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania focused on giving community residents the skills needed to assess their neighborhood, explore residents' knowledge of and attitudes toward domestic violence, and plan domestic violence prevention and intervention activities tailored to their community.

Office for Victims of Crime Links to Victim Assistance and Compensation Programs(VOCA)
With VOCA funding, State agencies in the United States and U.S. territories have established compensation programs to reimburse crime victims and victim assistance programs. The agencies responsible for running VOCA-funded victim service organizations vary from State to State, but contact information for each State and program is provided.

Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence
The coalition coordinates a statewide network of community-based programs and administers the contract for domestic violence services in Pennsylvania. In addition to providing lifesaving services in every county of the State, the coalition focuses on public policy development, training and technical assistance, public information, and education. The coalition has played a key role in the design and provision of domestic violence training to advocates for battered women and law enforcement during the past 2 decades, and has emerged as a leading expert on the response to this crime.

Texas Council on Family Violence
The Texas Council on Family Violence works to end violence against women through partnerships, advocacy and direct services for women, children and men.
